The refurb has done wonders for this pub. I particularly like the new bar. The food was great & the service was good. Will definitely recommend to others & will be visiting again.
The steak pie was the best my wife has tasted. The gammon was so tender it could be cut with the back of a steak knife – Fantastic.

Atmosphere as you walked into the pub was really warm. Staff are really good: knowing when to leave you alone and when to ask you is a hard task. Your staff did this well. No rush, kind friendly staff. Top-up coffee a nice extra. Will come again.
Head chef Karl worked & managed several restaurants in the Haworth area before becoming a director, firstly at the Grouse Inn & now at the Nightingale
Ian joined the team at the Grouse Inn in June 2005 & has been with us at the Nightingale ever since it opened
Josh started as a 15 year old pot-washing at the Grouse Inn in May 2005. Josh started with food preparation & has been with us as a chef at the Nightingale ever since it opened
John started work at the Nightingale in April 2012. John is also doing a catering course at Craven College
